Activities In Boracay

There are lots of things you can do in Boracay.  Aside from dining in some fancy restaurants and swimming, there’s a lot more fun to do in this Island.

Parasailing.  You’ll be put in parachute attached to the speedboat and allow you to go ascend while the speedboat tows the parachute.  It’s like kiting on a boat, but this time you are in the parachute.  This activity costs at least P1,000 per person and you’ll be ascended at most until 15 minutes.

Banana Boat.  Have fun riding on an inflatable boat shaped like a banana.  The banana boat is dragged by speeding speedboat and allows you to bounce back and forth.  It’s more thrilling once you are dropped on the sea water.  Unlike the other water activity this is not expensive.  One ride costs only at least P3,00 per person.

Helmet Diving.  You don’t need to show a diving certificate before you can do this.  You’ll be submerged under the seawater with a helmet.  The helmet allows you to breathe underwater.  You’ll be able to walk under the sea and witness for awhile the wonders that the sea holds.  This activity costs at least P700 per person inclusive of souvenir photos and video.

Parasailing.  Witness the sunset in the island while nestled on a net on the sailboat and sailing across the sea.  It’s the most relaxing activity!  Enjoy watching the sunset, feel the breeze of the saltwater and listen to the calm waves of the sea.  This activity won’t cost you much.  It’s only at least P250 per person.

Jet Skiing.  This is one of the first activities in Boracay.  Enjoy riding the jet ski for half an hour and it costs at least P2,000.

Island Hopping.  The name said it so.  You hire a boat to have a tour on the island and the nearby islands.  This activity would be at least 3 hours or more.  The cost depends on the number of people riding the boat, it will not be lower than P2,000.

ATV Riding.  Wanna explore the island via land?  This activity might be for you.  But unfortunately we didn’t try this one.  The kids preferred water activities.  Maybe next time.

Tip:  Use your negotiation skills and don’t hesitate to bargain on the cost.
