I hardly visit Starbucks Coffee stores since I’m not
a coffee lover. And If I do (happens
only when kids asked), I would usually order the non-coffee blended beverages
like Chocolate Chip Cream or Green Tea Cream.
Since I watch my diet, I never really checked on cakes or other desserts
that the store has to offer. I’m always
satisfied with just the CCC or GTC.
One day, my daughter was so hungry coming from a
long activity in school and the nearest store we could go to was
Starbucks. We ordered our usual drink,
but this time we had to look on the desserts counter. We saw this serving of cake that looked soooo
delectable -five layers of chocolate,
mousse and cream which made more tempting by its silky chocolate icing top that
shines with the white leaves overlay design.
And so, we ordered Heaven on Earth!
After tasting the cake; my gosh,
it’s literally heaven on earth!!! The
choco cake base is soft and moist. The middle layers of mousse and cream are incredibly soothing to my taste palette. I completely indulged myself, “sometimes we
need to forget how we watch our diet and just enjoy the heaven’s gift!”
