Due to the implementation senior high school which is part of the K to 12 program, there is an expected decrease in High School graduates on March 2016. Even so, the
University of the Philippines will only admit freshmen for SY2016-2017 through UPCAT.
UPCAT will still follow the same standards as in previous years.
According to UPCAT general information, for incoming freshmen (SY 2016-2017), UPCAT will be administered on August 30, 2015. Application will start in July and can be accomplished online.
