My eldest daughter is into Korean fever eversince her freshman year in high school. Maybe because she has two close friends that are Koreans, she got influenced by them. She likes the language, the people and their culture and food. Her friends would share her authentic Korean food prepared by their mothers. And this is why, as family, decided to be adventurous on dining and tried some Korean food too. We dined in Kogi Bulgogi - Korean Cuisine
"Kogi Bulgogi is the first and only Korean restaurant located in Eastwood City. Nestled at the heart of the posh new Eastwood Mall. It offers a variety of authentic Korean dishes. Some specialties of the house are Hoi (more commonly known as sashimi), the Bibimbap – served in a stone pot with generous servings of rice, vegetables and meat, the Japchae – with its chewy noodles, sweet sauce blend sautéed with meat and vegetables, etc." as the restaurant promotes it.
Our verdict: The place/ambiance is cozy which is good for dining experience. The service is commendable. The food, hmmm...let's start with the appetizer. There were few appetizers that were served free, but they didn't actually entice our tastebuds. Just the look of appetizers, we didn't try tasting them. I guess we are still conservative in choosing our food. So we odered the following:
House Salad
Classic Caesar salad with a Korean twist - the real twist was, it tasted sweeter than the usual classic caesar salad

Bibimbap
Beef with fried egg - it has some veggies on the side too

Overall, the food is okay and the price is affordable. But everything we ordered had a sweet taste, which we found it overwhelming. My eldest told me that it was not like an authentic Korean flavor.
